GDPR Privacy Notice
AA new law to replace the Data Protection Act 1998 comes into effect 25th May 2018.
The new law is called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We as the Data Controller will ensure that we are following the GDPR guidelines to ensure that the data you provide us with is safe. Following the GDPR guidelines recruitment consultants within our company will act as the Data Processors. During registration we will ask for your consent before processing your data, once we have your signed consent we can then begin the recruitment process. We can then use your personal data to contact you about any jobs we have available and send your CV to potential employers, if you are successful and are offered employment we will use the bank details you provide on our own payroll system or send them to a nominated payroll company which we use to process wages.
We will use the details you give us for work finding purposes for a minimum of 12 weeks and no longer than 1 year, if we have not contacted you in this time we will destroy all the data you have given us in a confidential manner unless you ask us not to. Your details can be destroyed in this way at any time at your request.
We would also like to remind you of your rights. These include the following listed below:
- The right to access your data at any time
- The right to withdraw your data at any time
- The right to amend or rectify your data for example: telephone number, address etc.
- The right to complain to the Supervisory Authority: Information Commissioners Office
- To inform us if you would no longer like us to contact you regarding work
